Witchaven is a fantasy-themed FPS that was soundly outclassed by the Heretic (and later Hexen) series of games. Although it features decent graphics and sounds (for its time) its problems begin with the fact that it's fighting is mostly hand-to-hand with shoddy hit detection. Though it aspires to be an RPG, even though it includes a few innovative features (ex, magic) it doesn't really come close. Like most Capstone games, decent production values can't save it from being a mediocre game.
