Remora USB File Guard is designed to be run from a USB drive and performs file encryption and compression. It sits in the system tray and restores to a full size window that represents virtual storage that you can customize by creating folders. You can use the "Import" function to add files to the virtual storage, which will be encrypted and optionally compressed. Similarly, you can decrypt files using the "Export" function.Note: The behaviour of the application is a little misleading. You can drag-and-drop files from Windows Explorer into the virtual storage, but the files will only be copied without encryption. To encrypt files, you need to use the "Import" function. Thanks to Dave Woolnough for the information. Download the installer and extract to a folder of your choice. The application files are found in the {app} folder. Launch usbguard.exe.
