Softi FreeOCR is an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program that uses Google's free Tesseract OCR engine. It supports multi-page TIFF images and import of documents via TWAIN scanners. Scanned text can be saved as ASCII text files. Download the installer and extract to a folder of your choice. The application files are in the {app} subfolder. Launch FreeOcr.exe.
