Skype is the insanely popular P2P IP telephony client that has taken the world by storm. Starting from V1.4, it is now possible to run Skype in a portable manner through new command-line switches. Download the installer and install to the default folder. There should be three folders available: Phone, Pictures and Wallpaper. Copy Phone\Skype.exe to a folder of your choice. Under that folder, create a subfolder called data. Copy Pictures and Wallpaper to the data subfolder. Finally, uninstall the program. Launch the program by using "Skype.exe /datapath:data /removable".
