Countdown is a one-trick pony, but it does it well. All it does is keeptrack of the time and alert you when the timer reaches zero. You canenter an end-date into the topmost field (examples: "3 pm", "12:01 amtomorrow") or enter how many hours, minutes, and seconds you need in thebottom fields. After you've done the simple setup, simply hit the "StartCountdown" button. Countdown updates a status bar item as it countsdown. When it reaches zero, it shows a message and plays a sound toalert you. It's as simple as it is handy.
