This package contains a utility to update the System BIOS (ROM) for the supported desktop models (with a CPT004 ROM Family). This utility works with the supported operating systems. ENHANCEMENTS: - Updates the Intel Memory Reference Code to version 2.6. - Reduces the boot time to align with Microsoft requirement for Microsoft Windows 7 Operating Systems. PREREQUISITES: None INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: WARNING: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR ATTEMPT TO REBOOT THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPDATE PROCESS! 1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where the downloaded file is saved). 2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. After the files are unpacked, flash.bat runs automatically to update the BIOS. NOTE: After the files have been unpacked, the file that was downloaded in Step 1 can be deleted, if desired.
